Drywall Repair Service Areas

We cover the North Dallas metro and only the North Dallas metro. Staying tight on the map is how we keep the schedule honest.

Areas we serve

We are based in Plano and work outward from there across the North Dallas metro. The map is deliberately tight. A drywall company that claims the whole metroplex is a drywall company that is going to be late to your house, and we would rather cover a smaller area properly.

The drywall itself changes as you move across the area, which is why each city has its own page rather than a copy of the same text. Established neighborhoods in Carrollton, Richardson, and Farmers Branch carry decades of clay soil movement and older textures that take real work to match. Newer development in Frisco and Allen brings first-generation settlement cracking and production knockdown. McKinney has both at once. Addison is mostly multifamily turn work on a deadline. Those are genuinely different jobs.

Why the map stays tight

A drywall company that claims the entire metroplex is telling you something it does not mean to: that it will be late to your house. Drive time is real and it comes out of somebody’s schedule. Usually it comes out of yours.

We cover the North Dallas metro and stop. We say no to work outside it — not because the work is bad, but because taking it means breaking a promise to somebody inside it.

What changes across the metro

The soil does not change much — it is Blackland clay under nearly all of it, expansive stuff that swells with moisture and shrinks without it, enough to move a foundation measurably across a season. Every house here rides that, which is why cracks at door corners and along ceiling seams are the regional signature rather than a sign of anything failing.

What changes is the housing. Established stock has forty years of that cycling behind it and textures from eras with different equipment and different mud, often softened by decades of paint. Newer stock is still finding its level, with framing lumber that is drying out and production knockdown that is consistent within a house. The first needs someone who can read a wall. The second needs someone who can time a knockdown in July.

How far we go, and why the map stops where it does

We are based in Plano and work outward across North Dallas. The furthest we go is Coppell to the west and McKinney to the north, and those are the edges on purpose rather than by accident.

The reason is drive time. A drywall repair is not one visit — compound has to dry between coats, so a three-coat repair has two unavoidable waits built into it, and a job that needs a second visit means a second drive. Stretch the map and those drives start eating the schedule, which means somebody gets told Tuesday and sees us Thursday. We would rather cover a smaller area and turn up when we said.

So when a call comes in from Fort Worth or Garland or south Dallas, we say no and, where we can, point people toward someone who covers them. That is not us being precious. It is the only way the promise on the rest of this site stays true.

The drywall changes as you cross the metro

This is the part people find surprising: the repairs are genuinely different depending on which of these cities you are in, which is why each one has its own page rather than the same text with the name swapped.

Established stock — Carrollton, Richardson, Farmers Branch

Neighborhoods with decades on the clay behind them. The signature here is seasonal cracking in predictable places: diagonals running up from door corners, hairlines along ceiling seams. The textures are older too — applied with different equipment and different mud than a crew uses today, and often softened by decades of paint. Matching one means reading what is actually on the wall rather than reaching for a standard tip.

Newer development — Frisco, Allen, The Colony

Homes still finding their level. Framing lumber is drying out and shrinking, the slab is settling into its seasonal rhythm on the same clay, and the drywall telegraphs both. Those cracks tend to show up early and then quiet down. The texture is production knockdown, applied fast and consistently, which is good news for matching — it is the same across the house.

Both at once — McKinney, Plano

Plano splits at Central Expressway: established stock to the east, newer development west of the Tollway. McKinney runs from genuinely old housing near the square out to brand-new builds on the edges. In both, the first question we ask on the phone is how old the house is, because the answer changes what goes in the van.

Multifamily — Addison

Dense with condos, townhomes and rentals, which means turn work on a deadline rather than homeowner calls. Different rhythm, and we are set up for it.

What does not change

The soil, mostly. Blackland clay runs under nearly all of it — expansive stuff that swells with moisture and shrinks without it, enough to move a foundation measurably across a season. Every house here rides that. It is why cracks at door corners and along ceiling seams are the regional signature rather than a sign that anything is failing.

And the standard does not change. Same crew, same approach, same texture matching whether you are in Plano or at the far edge in Coppell.

What it costs, wherever you are on the map

The price does not change by city. Pricing starts at $300 for any job, however small. Virtual estimates are free — text a photo and we will come back with a real number. In-person estimates are $100, credited back against your job when you book with us.

What to tell us when you call

Whichever city you are in, the same three things scope a job in about a minute: roughly how big the damage is, roughly where it sits in the room, and what the texture is — smooth, orange peel, knockdown, or popcorn. If you do not know the texture, a photo answers it instantly.

Two more worth mentioning if they apply. Roughly how old the house is, because in an older home that changes whether we are matching a sprayed texture or a hand-applied one. And whether anything above the damage has ever leaked, because for any stain the history is the whole story: a stain that has not grown in a year is a dead source and we can move immediately, while one that grew after the last rain needs a plumber or a roofer before it needs us.

Not sure if you are in the area?

Call and ask. If you are outside it we will tell you rather than take the job and be late, and where we can we will point you toward someone who does cover you.
